    The Bonnet Gas Strut Kit is an easy to install modification to add to your 70 Series LandCruiser (2007-2022) for an easy one-touch lift to access to your engine bay.

    It makes raising the bonnet an absolute dream, especially when your Cruiser has had a suspension lift and you would normally have to stand on your tyre or bull-bar to lift it up.

    The kit doesn't include printed instructions, but YouTube has install videos for this exact kit that our customers found easy to follow. We'd recommend watching a video before you start. It's a straightforward install once you know which side the brackets go.

    They fit across the 70 Series range. Most 79 Series owners report great fitment, and several 76 Series owners confirm they work well too. If you have a 76, feel free to confirm compatibility with us before ordering.

    The struts are rated for the standard bonnet weight. If you run bonnet-mounted recovery tracks, the extra weight may exceed the strut capacity and you may still need the prop rod as backup.
