Open a 79 door and the first thing you see is plastic. Basic, hard, and scratched up from years of boots, tools, and wet dogs. The factory door cards do their job but they age badly, and once they start cracking around the speaker grille or window switch surround there is no fixing them. Stainless steel door trims and aftermarket trim pieces cover the high-wear sections of the door card with a finish that does not scratch, dent, or fade. Suddenly the inside of the door looks like part of the build instead of an afterthought.

304 STAINLESS WITH SECURE MOUNTING

The stainless trims are cut from 304-grade stainless steel. The same grade used in marine and food-service applications because it does not corrode, pit, or discolour over time. Textured checker plate finishes give actual grip rather than just a look. Each trim is sized for the specific door card section it suits. Door pull surrounds, kick plates, sill trims, and barn door trims on the Troopy. Mounting uses automotive-grade 3M tape with a few self-tappers in high-vibration spots, and installation takes under fifteen minutes per door.
