The search for a 79 Series exhaust upgrade usually starts in the same place: a factory system built to a noise standard, not a performance one. Restrictive piping and undersized muffler internals push exhaust gas temperatures higher than they need to be under load. A quality aftermarket 79 Series Land Cruiser exhaust opens the system up with larger bore piping, free-flowing mandrel bends and less restrictive mufflers.
